Ya, I would be mad as hell if I opened the box to find something other than what I ordered, unless it was the 30 instaed of the 20... I am leaving on a trip today so I will wait until I get back. It will be like xmas morning

That would be nice. I wanted the 30 but it was unavailable. When I finally saw it back in stock, the 20 had already shipped. Ended up picking up the Brinsea in between so I can set almost 100 eggs so I think I'm good for a bit.

After you've used the Maticoopx you'll have to remember to reset the day counter, otherwise it will still be on day 21. That's after it being in the box on a shelf for a month, so it does keep track even without power. The first time that happened I was baffled why the egg turner wouldn't work.

I'm tempted by the Maticoopx even though I love my NR360 and have used it for years. The extra water capacity with the water bottle in the Maticoopx is the main reason I'm interested. I hatched at school recently and the humidity would go very low over the weekend.The one thing I'm worried about with the Maticoopx is a review I read said you have to start it again after day 21 if you have late hatchers. Is this true? Will the machine just shut off after day 21?

That’s what I heard too. Although I think they just meant the tuning device. Seems reasonable either way, a small price for a good machine that is actually affordable.

If you go from one hatch straight into another you just have to reset the days counter so the turner will start turning again.

I've ordered anyway, the Amazon price on the 20 was too good to resist ($83) it will be a change since I've always used NR360 and never used the upright turners but it will be nice to have options.

I've got a NR360 also. The Maticoopx won't disappoint you.

I don't think I've had any hatch late in it but I know once I ran a batch and when they were done I just rinsed out the bottom half and loaded it back up.
I never started it back up it was still running. I didn't reset the days until several days later when I realized they hadn't been turning.
