Collecting for my next hatch from just 2 pens. One will be my best new black BC cockerel over black, blue & birchen. These are my best looking birds so I’m really hoping to see some decent chicks come from these. I know, they all came from a hatchery but I’ve had some pretty birds out of this group. The others will be my select RIR group.

Not that I think they should carry an official WallyG stamp, but not be just hatchery birds after I’ve put the time into selective breeding.

Anytime you make the choice on how to breed a pair, those resulting offspring are WallyG birds. The reason being, because WallyG decided how they should be bred. They now have the WallyG stamp on them.

In that case, all but one out of this new breeding pen are WallyG birds. That one is my only blue and she is thankfully a pretty little girl with good feets! Not perfect but good. I’m a long way from chookwagn quality.
