Yikes. That’s worse than mine last year.

Way upstate in NY, too cold to hatch now. I have 3, maybe 4 hatches planned. Mar 17, Apr 9, May 3, all chicks, won’t keep many at the farm, mostly for sale, and maybe a June quail hatch with the nieces & nephews once school lets out. I ordered a handful of pullets too to keep and to sell. If the weather stays like it has been this week, I’ll be really happy. High of 50 today. That’s unheard of here in Feb!

Not really answering your question and I might be a bit late, but here is a good black and blue presentation.

Awesome chicks but something is missing on their feet. I actually sold all 9 of those chicks so the colors don’t matter for those. I do have another batch on the way!

I’ve had them all separated for a good month now. I’ll definitely know if it’s a blue when I hatch my next batch. And if I’m lucky, maybe another birchen.
