I was candling a broody nest and didn't realize they were that close to hatching, so I had the egg sitting up so I could candle and *plop*, the sac disappears and the egg gets dark. Thought I killed the poor thing until it hatchedNo, but I have seen the airsac moving when they're about to pip. Looks so weird
