The Moonshiner's Chick Chat

A bull neck. The technical term in chickens is a “boule.” It is found in Belgian bantams.View attachment 3432333
However, Belgian bantams have very unfluffy necks at hatch.
I find that fluffy necks and chicks are associated with badonkadonk but nothing can predict a muscle-man neck

Then we should create a name for fluffy necked chicks at hatch. I vote for selective badonka donk. Sounds scientific enough

I wish! I've only ever owned XXLs. Just lost my last boy, last December.

Did you ever show/compete/breed them? I'm not the biggest fan of the small ones, the exotic bully I think they call it. The larger ones are much prettier, the tiny ones look like lawnmowers

I used to a long time ago.

I'm not a fan of the exotics either, and they do lol. I am however finding myself more and more drawn to the more correct pocket bullies. Like the super correct ones. Not the broke-down roomba ones.

I unfortunately haven't found a single exotic whose joints aren't pointing outward like a frog, but I will keep looking. Right now I'm in this weird state of trying to figure out what breed my future show prospect will be. I love Cavaliers so much, but I can't do all that grooming, especially with a show dog

I don't think I've seen a clean exotic either. They're all.... terrible.

OK I looked at some pocket bullys. Some were ok. Still a little iffy for me, but definitely better than the Grinch faced frogs. What are SBTs, if there's one thing that can take me out, it's acronyms
