The Moonshiner's Leghorn Thread Peanut Gallery

My biggest concern would be staying far enough apart that they can't spread nasty diseases. That and not opening cages unless someone has bought a bird.

My local TSC has resident guineas now that live on the side of the busy road. They got loose at a swap.
How far would you consider far enough apart? We had planned on 6 ft because of the virus, but I'm not sure that's enough for bird viruses.

We've decided no visibly sick birds will be allowed, but obviously not every bird shows symptoms for everything

Are cubicles between vendors a possibility? 😅

Has anyone here been to a poultry swap? I'm putting one on in May for 4hers and I can't really find any "do's and don'ts" for poultryswaps.
I been to one before. We do the same for our poultry project, I'm on a committee. One of the things we do is a raffle and a brat fry/bake sale to raise money. Members of the project donate baked goods and supplies, volunteer to sell things and there you go!
Don't start the swap early! No early sales! A lot of buyers come from far away.

That's probably good. The most popular one around here is a lot closer than that.
(probably not a good thing, since its indoors. But it is a cool swap)

Not anyway I can think of. It's outside in a parking lot with everyone bringing their own tables and supplies. But were setting the bones up so we can probably chalk Xs where tables can be for distance management
Would curtains maybe work? I might be able to access the curtains we use for family fun night

So start it when advertised, not before, correct?
