I thought Andalusians are supposed to have grey legs. His legs look a funky color. Mostly pinkish-gray. I thought the black should be mostly on the hackle and the rest would be gray,with slight light penciling on the gray feathers. The ones I seen in my limited experience,are a bit stouter,not as lanky as this guy. Although I personally would take him in a heartbeat;he's a handsome bird,but I don't know what a judge would look for and/or penalize.
I don't know, maybe THIS guy is what an Andalusian should look like.
But based on what I've seen in pics,he looks like a work in progress,due to feather coloring,body type and leg color.
Let me know what you guys think,if I'm off,etc...

Yes, though the leg color is way off and the lacing on the tail needs some serious work. His sister/relative got reserve Mediterranean. I personally would have picked a different one (Ancona or Leghorn) because of her coloring but oh well.
Miami might be right about depth of breast, though I’d have to feel the bird to confirm it. Overall, the type is right.
My mom’s Ancona pullet got reserve of breed in a fair sized group.

Yeah now that I look at the bird again I can see the gray feathers peeking from underneath probably just the angle of the picture.
Again,handsome bird for sure.

Would that be a good candidate for a Blue Leghorn project,being that his legs are pinkish?
