Yeah,but it means I'll have birds out of the house sooner too. Theyll be out by mid may instead of mid july

I'm willing to take that. Plan is to process males I can't sell anyways and who doesn't love crowing? (Plus the standards I'm getting I either need males more than females or can find eggs on EBay rather easily)

I’ll likely never buy straight run again, unless it’s for my OEGBs, which I can never find sexed. Last time I bought straight run I got 12 cockerels.

This hatchery I trust for straight run anyways. I had 3 bantam varieties I got last year and ended up with more females than males (about 60-40, but still)
