What color should they be ?? She is a hatchery bird too so could that contribute ??

They should both be the same color. The color of her left eye.

Well, Leghorns in general are.

This is Colonel.

Pics of her comb, her industrious nature, her being a filthy, nasty creature, her as a clean pullet (didn’t last long), her feisty personality, her looking like a pretzel, etc.

Thank you!! I just looked closer at all the pics and noticed it’s like every single one so I’m thinking it wasn’t the lighting I thought you just meant the lap one but it’s like every pic! Might go pull her off the roost to check LOL

But yeah, she’s been laying like every single day or dang close to it (maybe missed like one or two ?) since she started laying Sep or Oct 2019 ish lol and definitely active My most active bird, actually, I would say. Runs all over the place finding whatever she can when free ranging. She actively seeks out and finds stuff the other birds miss. The other birds also make us dig holes for them LOL though she will beg for that too

Took these right after I posted the other post but then my phone died not the best pics because of that and cause it was dark and hard to get a pic of the right thing but I tried lol she was such a good sport and let me mess with her and take a million pics and move her head around (and blind her) till I got some
