What about Swedish Flower, some are calico.100% agree
Calico / MF whatever you want to call them are all just nonsense
What is "calico" apart from a fabric....What about Swedish Flower, some are calico.
OMG this sounds amazing!I ain't hating.
I was thinking about getting back into them myself for parades and such.
Their little fluffy fat @sses would be perfect for shooting out of oversized potato guns into the crowds.
Kids love confetti cannons. It couldn't go wrong.

This! Exactly this! I think they call them calico because they resemble a calico cat (tri-colored essentially). But you're absolutely right. Someone decided to make Mille Fleur Cochins and Polish, and whatever else and never invested the time, energy, and effort into getting them clean, polished, and presentable. They bred three or four generations and decided that was good enough. And then called them calico, because even woodsy, hill-folk, from the Deep South know "them don't look like them there fancy chikens, them Millie Floors."What is "calico" apart from a fabric....
To me it's just a made up name for something that's not Mille Fleur.....
But then again I'm still learning
