Lol I can't either.
All my birds (except some in the blue projects) have yellow shanks. Sometimes its a bright yellow others are dull. Yellow shanks change change all the time.
Some of the nonsense birds looks like a faint green tint. The parents don't have it so idk maybe it goes away with age. The Buff has brighter yellow and the red has the duller.
I'm already trying to get all yellow shanks in my blue projects. Working on getting bright yellow with little to no wash in the blacks and now I have to watch the nonsense shanks.

Considering I know nothing about type, I just picked one based on which I thought looked cooler. I don't know, maybe a very girly thing to do but whatevs

I figure some of the members (Miami Miami Miami Miami Miami) have been on me long enough that I could start posting some pics of older chicks/juveniles to keep the thread active over the winter.
Of course I'm not really into showing off or anything and it's a pita to get pics. I know it may surprise some ( @EmmaRainboe @TheOddOneOut ) but I'm not too good at photography.
The battle idea was just to make it a little more interesting and interactive. I just wanted people to focus on the colors/patterns when voting. For me it's gonna give some insight into which varieties everyone else likes or dislikes.
I have my favorites and some were harder to get to then others. Some I have quite a few of and others I may only have one or two. All of that sways my opinion and influences my favorites.
It will be fun and educational for me to see what you'll think.
