Right!? First one is kinda “plain” but yet I love her and the color that is there. Second one I LOVE the deep blue on the neck but the splash looks kinda messy. So idkkkk

The first one doesn't look plain to me, she's quite elegant.
I like the head of the second, but disregarding type like we're supposed to first one wins.

She does look elegant! That’s a good word. I wasn’t sure what it was I liked about her. And idk if plain is the right word but more muted colors? Like it’s not in your face like some of the birds hahah

Isabella leghorns are lavender on gold duckwing.
The lavender dilutes the "gold" to a stray color.
I wanted something more subtle and figured eliminating the gold would achieve that and it would give a cleaner look.
She is lavender on silver duckwing. Worked out just as I expected.
