The Moonshiner's Leghorns

@The Moonshiner how did your hatch go?
I'll have to see when I get home. As of this morning wasn't looking any better then last week but today is the scheduled hatch date.
We've been having that weather where it's been pretty warm and rains a hour or few pretty much daily.
A lot of the incubators don't have humidity displays but yesterday I watched the one going all over the place from 50% to 92%. That can't be helpful.

I run the Sportsman pretty much dry this time of year when the ambient humidity is high. I may add water with the pan nearly all the way covered when the humidity drops below 20%. Otherwise my hatch rates aren't good and I have to deal with drowning chicks when they pip.

@The Moonshiner @Amer do you think it is possible my Legbars have the champagne blonde (Cb) gene instead of or in addition to the inhibitor of gold gene (Ig)? I have been told that Ig is recessive and requires two copies to express. But Cb is dominant and expresses when heterozygous. Some of my F1 Legbar/Leghorn cross chicks certainly look to be expressing what looks like cream (Ig), but it may actually be Cb? What are your thoughts? I can't get pictures of them at the moment because it is raining cats and dogs outside and I have to get ready for work soon. But here is a Legbar/Game cross that is expressing what looks like Cb or Ig, but she would be heterozygous as none of our Games express what looks like Cb or Ig.
