The Doodle dog across the street got on top of my brothers house trying to kill a chicken. We had to climb on the roof to save the chicken.

I don't like shooting free roaming dogs, but I also don't like free roaming dogs killing my chickens either. In my state, a livestock owner has the legal right to protect their animals. We usually let the dog go with a warning first, especially if it is a neighbor's dog. Then we let the neighbor know if the dog comes back and kills another chicken, we will shoot it. So, they are warned. Usually that does the trick. If people don't want their dogs harmed, they need to keep them put up and not let them roam. If my Doodle went down the road and killed livestock, I would not blame someone for shooting him.

I pay to have mine done and she always looks a right eejit.

The groomers around here charge $90 for the cut I just gave my Doodle today. Probably more if they are matted. If someone is going to screw my dog's haircut up, it's gonna be me. And I sure ain't paying someone to do it. lol

8x8 10 tall. Front part was a kids playhouse. Back has walk in door and was storage area.
I have a truck and work has 2 trailers I could use either of. Problem is is that the ad says it's in the backyard inside a vinyl fence with only a 3' wide gate. No taking down any fence or driving on grass. Must disassemble and carry to street and load. Idk how it'd be taken apart in any type sections that could be moved and reassembled.

Offer to pay a professional to take the gate down and put it back
You can roll that shed across the yard on pvc pipe or carry it with 4 men

I love animals too, but I will do what I have to do to protect my birds.

The Buff cockerel is looking more confident. He drops his wing and does his little rooster cicle around the pullet and also to bird that come close to the pen. He is one of my favorite birds. I love his disposition. I hope he passes on his sweet demeanor to his offspring because the incomplete BTR pullets are wild acting.

My older son has a couple of sheepadoodles. I'm grateful for our short-haired hounds - no grooming other than nail clipping.

You can't legally kill a mans dog for killing his own chickens.(These dogs and chickens weren't my brothers)Eventually the mans dogs killed all of his chickens.When he moved he gave the dogs away

Ya I had the one a few weeks, I don't remember but in that time he started to get matted and picked up every bur on the property.
I had no doodle experience and while combating the burs I discovered just how much maintenance he was gonna be. I didn't have anything to trim him with I thought it was best to go the professional route at least that time. Yeah they wanted $100 and told me how often he would need to be groomed in the future.
I wasn't too happy about it and explain to the groomer how he was dumped by my house. She asked if I was looking for a home for him and at about that time I surely was. Well I didn't have to pay for grooming that day and he got to go home and live with the groomer.
