The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Friends ask me, “Aren’t you about ready to retire?” I was ready years ago but my bank account says otherwise. The struggle is real!
I feel you! I still have over 30 years to work until I am retirement age and that is so depressing. I have been working since I was 14.

They are starting to move those over here in Arizona now, so if I go to check them out later, I will be sure to stay away from the chicken salad.
I would approach any gas station chicken salad with caution. Even boujee gas station chicken salad. Maintain a high level of suspicion.

I sort of experienced that a bit during the last few months after my husband's operation, but I had to do it.
Through sickness and in health. I would gladly care for my husband and wouldn't bat an eyelash at any blood, gore, or bodily fluids. But dealing with filth, blood, gore, and bodily fluids from people who cuss you like a dog and try to hit you at the same time, that doesn't go over as well and definitely lends to feelings of burn out.

Over the years I have been called everything but a white woman, donkey kicked, hair pulled, spit in my face, bodily fluids in my eye, hit, you name it.

Not a big deal but still feel.lousy today. Lazed around all morning and probably won't do much beyond chores today.
Beautiful day and I work the next two days then temps are back to 50s so sucks to not be doing something today but rest for the work weekend would probably be the wiser choice.
Hope you get to feeling better soon! Tis the season of viruses galore! Especially when you have a kid in school. They drag home every virus, bacteria, and parasite coming and going.

We don't have them here although I thought I heard something about them putting their first one in MO was was in the process or something.
I like their Beaver Nuggets.
Are those like mountain oysters?

Actually, I haven't eaten any chicken salad that I had not made at home myself in years. Now, I don't think I will be tempted to try theirs out for sure.

They are like corn puffs with a crunchy caramel coating. There are other variations, but I like the original. They are addictive. Definitely not like mountain oysters. 😆
