But... bantam everything exists! Sicilian Buttercups hardly exist except in bantam form!
I found a hatchery that has standards for buttercups. Decent quality too. A gal in 4H had a trio last summer from them.

Never knew they had bantam version either

Wow, that is very cool!
I might still have a buttercup bantam hen...
 
How many chicks do you usually hatch at once?
Last hatch season I was setting 41 eggs every 6 or 7 days.
Some hatches weren't great. I remember a couple were 15- 18 chicks I think. Lots averaged 30- 35.

How many do you usually end up keeping?
All of them.
Na it all depends. I think ive probably got 1/3 of them still.

At least youre good at knowing when to start moving birds along. I wamna keep everyone 😅
