Oh geez. Not you too.
No, he said that because I brought the mille fleur upMe three.
I figured browns weren’t too rare anymore but thought the “rare” one was the exchequer one or whatever.
do I get points though for knowing more than two?

I absolutely love love LOVE my White Leghorn though and wish I had added more when I got her
Do you think hatchery leghorns all lay about the same even with the different varieties or are the whites still well above even comparing hatchery to hatchery![]()
Chamois is usually white laced red/buff laced.supposedly a buff over a dominant white will make it. Like a paint silkie but different colored
Ohh okay I thought you were talking about the light brown ones but I might have missed something hahaNo, he said that because I brought the mille fleur up

If you could develop a chamois, I'd stop with the mille fleur
Nope I won't be working with a laced pattern.Chamois is usually white laced red/buff laced.
Technically anything gold with dominant white though usually meaning buff laced it can also be spangled, pencilled, or other patterns. Probably good not to call it Chamois though because that is a pretty confusing European term that isn’t consistent. What's a chamois? I can't remember ATM.
I know Hoover's has the brown, white and IsabellaOf course you get points.
Just about every hatchery sells whites and browns. The hatchery browns I've had did lay just about as well as the whites. Some Hatcheries sell their special line of production whites. They usually come with a number in their name. I'd imagine they would lay a bit better then any average hatchery white or brown.
There's a few hatcheries that sell another variety or two. Unfortunately any that I've had did not lay as well.
