That hair looks fantastic! I think it might even be better than my mom's 80's rodeo/barrel racing hair!

Sandhill Farms looking remotely competent.

*Consistently Inconsistent ;)
I tell ya, either they have a huge clientele and they cannot meet the demands or they are running it with a skeleton crew with very limited output.
@The Moonshiner I believe may have done business with them I'm not sure. But from what I've read it's like pulling teeth.
On paper they get you excited on what they have available.
I think there was some health issues in the family slowing everything down a bit.
I wish them luck.

It's the second option that cause many of the problems. Also apparently horrible predator proofing. There were several breeds that they had at one time or another that have been completely wipes out by predators over the course of seasons. In my opinion, that's irresponsible when (in their own words) they are the only people with breeding flocks in the country.

Yeah I didn’t really get that. A couple of the pages said losing this one particular group of birds or the other was the ā€œfinal strawā€ for getting all new coops and runs or whatever and I was thinking in my head like... ā€œwhy wouldn’t you, a hatchery, and one with supposedly some extremely rare birds, not have had good predator proofing from the beginning ???ā€ It makes no sense. I try to not to judge though and what happened was horrible but how do raccoons AND mink get in and slaughter sooooo many birds? I could maybe see mink cause they can fit through really small holes that might not even be noticeable but raccoons are massive. I thought that was weird. And how they called EEs Ams. But they do seem like they’re trying and I’m sure they’re nice enough so I don’t wanna be too judgmental but just sucks so many birds had to be slaughtered before they thought ā€œHey. Wait. Maybe I Should predator proof...ā€
