Ok, IMO Sandhill is TRYING to save these breeds and be honest but their execution of this goal... isn’t great

IMO Sandhill is over their heads in every aspect.
I believe they probably started out on the right track but somewhere the need to keep steady funds coming in over took everything else.
It's always seemed like a case of do/say what we need to cover our @$$e$ IMO.

Trust me, they’re just in to get money off of some ladies with deep purses and too much time on their hands.
And their fantastical advertisement
And the breeds!
And the importations!
It’s all pomp and circumstance, and meanwhile, there are breeds already in the US that need saving.
And what annoys me the most is how everyone exalts them and drools over their chickens. Some aren’t even good.

the Cemanis, now easy to find all over the US, are still 99.00 ea.

“Ultra-exotic.”

I don't remember about the LH's, but he ordered Cochins from them that looked like hatchery quality Marans.

this is blowing my mind!!! I always thought those two were like really reputable and everything and THE place for rare breeds and such. At least that’s how they’re always talked about. glad I’ve never bought from them now!!! My mind is totally blown hahah
