The Moonshiner's Leghorns

I also know this little fart hatched because the egg was clearly empty. But I have no idea which one it is. There are some Orpington chicks that look just like the Buttercups as far as color is concerned.
 normally a "fart" that "hatches" ..... isn't a fart anymore.......

What's going on here?
Congrats to all you all hatching chicks and making me Jones. Horrible start here this year. Winter wanted to hang around forever. Hoping I'm getting into spring. Been warm for 3 days or so and forecast looks good.

Back to hatching. What's your all's incubator experiences?
What are you using or have used? Thoughts? The good bad and ugly.
Not sharing again, ever.

That's crazy talk to me. Was your hova electronic thermostat or old school wafer?
Hova have been so dependable for me. I only use the wafer ones though.
I'm going to have to dig them up to answer your question. I'm still holding a grudge against them so they're in the deepest darkest depths of the office. They need moved anyways.

I'm thinking electronic, but they were a little bit old, so maybe not.

Well, there is that.

I'm using a Sportsman GQF cabinet. I have zero luck with the Little Giant incubators. The only issue I have with the GQF is that the trays tilt so far when they turn that the largest goose eggs have been cracked across the air cell. It's very unpleasant. For the ducks, chickens, guineas, and turkeys though, it works great.
