The head spot doesn't really mean anything. It's the excess amount of white on the bottom half of the body and on head that indicates mottling.
A white head spot means barring. That bird is blue it's head spot should be blue like it's back.
Blue is just a dilute gene that dilutes black to blue. It can vary the degree it dilutes it so you can get various shades of blue.
I'm guess for a reason idk it just diluted that area to a dark blue while the rest to a lighter blue.
We'll have to follow it and see.
