If you had 2 elements in there would they be doing half the work each or will 1 only kick in when the other doesn't work or has died?
But she's not even incubating Leghorns or even chickens for that matter.....Lol. She's doing her first time ever incubating and just between us has already lost her damn mind over it.

Is the whole unit surge protected? Would you be better to have separate contol for each element? In theory that would put out twice the heat so it would click off in less time then with one but if one quit working the other would easily carry the load.
I just don't know if I'm missing something by running two and doubling the wattage output.
