Seems to be mainly the prices and descriptions. A few misleading phrases that make them seem like the only source for birds that are now quite common

It's not my place to say but geez the potential that the Moonshiner/Overo Leghorn farm can do to the boutique Leghorn scene is enticing.

Trust me, they’re just in to get money off of some ladies with deep purses and too much time on their hands.
And their fantastical advertisement
And the breeds!
And the importations!
It’s all pomp and circumstance, and meanwhile, there are breeds already in the US that need saving.
And what annoys me the most is how everyone exalts them and drools over their chickens. Some aren’t even good.

I see your points and they do seem in it for the money BUT I don’t see how having foreign breeds by itself is so bad? Maybe people aren’t interested in the US breeds. And if there’s a market… but the rest of it makes them sound sketch but I personally don’t mind or care much about the foreign breed thing cause not everyone had the same interests and there are other people working on those I’m sure.

I will admit if my zip code was one they acceptes, I would have bought from them due to FOMO. But they do have other birds that I'm legit wanting because I enjoy them, and do wish I could it from them

Moony bought some sort of blue egg layer from them once. They laid green eggs. The absolute only thing they are good for is rare breeds because they import. Other than that, they're sketch and greedy.
