I don’t know, I think there’s definitely a distinction between predator savvy & flighty. Most of my chickens are predator savvy but still friendly with me as they know I’m not a threat. Him? He’ll launch himself off the roost — knocking others off with him — just because I turned towards him while I was doing nightly head counts.

Yeah, that got me too. I even told them about brown leghorns having sexual dimorphism in a previous email and was told it would be put in the notes for my claim but I still had to wait until he was over 14 weeks old. Like, I had it figured out he was a dude a 4 weeks. Very frustrating to wait an extra 10+ just to confirm what I already knew.
