That's probably good that they don't get it all the time. I know chocolate is usually a no-no for birds because of the caffeine in it.

I was at a poultry show and someone left a cup of coffee unattended on one of the shelves. A little bantam Cochin hen is was sticking her head out of the cage and drinking it.

I'm pretty sure that chocolate is toxic to chickens, like it is to dogs.

Question for Moony, how does the Buttercup/double comb work? I've never crossed them to anything before.

The one little Buttercup egg is still developing. If it's a result of the Isabel Crele Orpington and not the Buttercup father, what would the comb look like?
