Me too! Our old Pyrenees, Waylon is 8-9 years old and starting to show his age. On cool days he still bounds around like a pup, but his teeth are wearing down, reminding us daily he is getting old. We now soak his kibble in broth or food scraps. They are getting venison scraps and kitchen scraps to go with their kibble for supper tonight. Are they spoiled? Yes they are. Do they deserve it? Yes they do.

Cute story about Waylon. He has always been a huge ham for attention. One year one of his dew claws grew to the point that it was almost in his skin, not in it but almost. It was causing him annoyance and he limped around. I clipped it and loved on him extra. He then precedes to fake limp every time he wants us to give him attention. Once you give him attention, he stops limping. He is a goofball. lol

Our last dog had to be put down at only 6 1/2 because he had an autoimmune disorder.
