I have and it started my project Crested EE from Crevecoeur rooster and Ameraucana hens. Not sure I'll be adding Spitzhauben or not but they where my first choice to make the Crested EE.

I have four off the Crevecoeur x Ameraucana that look how I want them to look. So I might just add more Ameraucana for the rooster and hatch off that. Then breed him back to those and his sisters. Ill need to test any Crested males from that for the blue egg gene being OO instead of Oo.

I really think this well be my only project going forward. The Silver Ameraucana are for having a male Ameraucana to get to the OO egg gene faster. Plus I want them to be silver duckwing as well. Eventually I'll add blue back in. I have a rooster for that already. Then its tring to get them back to not so flighty if I can. Silver Ameraucana are pretty flighty right now. Up there with leghorns actually for flightyness. Plus the rooster i have to add blue is very flighty as well. He's EE and Phoenix but had the muffs, beard and partial pea comb form the EE rooster he came from. I need to have him tested tho.

In a nutshell the Crested EE is the focus project for me now because its what I really wanted.

I should be back on this coming spring. Was setback with two pens needed to be rewired with hardware cloth. Once those are done and I get rid of the rest of the mixed hens and maybe the Spitzhaubens I'll be blazing away. With those and the Silver Ameraucana.

I was wondering if I should do blue or lavender for them? The deciding factor was blue isn't recessive.

In a magazine and ordered it. Came with 5 quail eggs. I think 1 was cracked but anyways I had 1 hatch. Raised it for a few then searched high and low till I found a mate.
Got a little crazy after that.

Same here, got it from the back of a field and stream magazine. Hatched one and was hooked. Had that bird for four years and it got loose and the neighbor dog ate it lol.
