If they were from me it'd have to be 2 or 3 at a time.

Would putting some of those wooden fake eggs in with them help the incubator to appear full so that the real ones would stay warmer in a 12 egg incubator?

I'm done hatching for this year... unless I can get my hands on some of those Buff Leghorns. Now that would change my mind.

The girl I got mine from had a couple trios for sale. She asks $100 per adult bird.

I have had small batches in my NR 360 and the small batch didnt seem to affect the temp.

Chickens are only worth what someone is willing to pay. I am embarrassed to say we have spent more on chickens before. Much, much more.

Those are pretty good incubators, up there in quality with the MaticoopX I believe. I think you will be fine with small batches. Just monitor the temp with a Govee or similar thermometer.
