Steel Drum with Lid - 55 Gallon, Open Top, Unlined S-10758RT - Uline https://share.google/gEWvROKEi0zgtPxls
Yeah those onesThe ones other people beat me to? Cause mine are mostly full.
I don't use the plastic ones neither. I bought some of those Behrens 31 gallon trash cans with lids. The handle on the lid had small gaps, so I filled them in with a sealant so that bugs couldn't get in. I have those sitting on an old budwieser delivery pallet that handles the weight and holds up well. No rodents can chew through it.The ones other people beat me to? Cause mine are mostly full.

I do always see plastic ones of various sizes. I just ain't keen on plastic because my luck a hoard of rats would decide to show up and eat holes in them.
Maybe get a few for short term emergency storage. Or maybe quit being a cheap @$$ and by a $50 or $75 freezer.
I give it about 2 years and you'll be looking for chest freezers and a few of them.I don't use the plastic ones neither. I bought some of those Behrens 31 gallon trash cans with lids. As the number of chickens and the feed need grows, I will keep that in mind.I give it about 2 years and you'll be looking for chest freezers and a few of them.![]()
Ya of course.@The Moonshiner Is it possible to turn old refrigerators or deep chest freezers that don't work into some huge incubator's?
I thought that might help you to get all of your season's hatching done in one shot.Ya of course.
Never thought about how to lay out a design for a chest freezer but I'm sure you could.
Don't tease me, tell me you're seriously considering it.
