More for me then! I like white meat in pot pie but the little “oysters” on the back of the chicken are the best part of the bird. I save those for myself teehee

Using squid wrapped around the hook is better, because it's harder for them to steal that bait off of the hook.

I am put off by the color of dark meat also. And the older the bird, the longer it lives and moves to exercise the muscles, the darker the dark meat gets. We butchered an 18-month-old tom turkey for thanksgiving and his dark meat was DARK! The dogs had a good thanksgiving. lol

Gizzards stay on the hook the best where the meat is tougher. We've never tried squid.
