I don't know what they're actually called either but Geoffrey Zakarian, famous chef, says their name in Italian means "Only the fool (or drunkard) leaves them." Lovely little nuggets, best part of the chicken, really.

It’s cold here too. I have had to sleep with one of our big wool quilts I made and another blanket. I miss the summer.

I’m the only person that’s happy it’s cold. I love walking out the door and the air is so cold it sticks in your throat and you can’t breathe for a second. I’ll take the cold over the heat any day. But by February I’ll start getting tired of it lol.

I like the cold too. The time it sticks around here in coastal Texas is perfect.

We get maybe 60-80 days of real cold here in west central Missouri. I’m fine with it and by March we start getting warm days. The only thing I do t like is ice. I live in BFE and getting out in my Honda is a pain. It iced last year and I called into work and was two hours late. First time I was late in ten years and I’ve only missed one other day in a decade. They brought it up in my review at work, I still can’t believe they gave me a low score on attendance.

It's supposed to get up to 67 f. here today with tonight's low of 46. I'm not roasting out here now.

Nope I expect not. We can get in the single digits but it won't last more than a night. We have maybe a month and a half worth of really cold days. Those are normally in January and February.
