So I started the season with 11 meaties and 8 RIR (all day old) they were on medicated & grain Fermented Feed. Then I switched to Non-Med and Grain FF when I realized that I couldn't keep the meaties on Med. (These are 10 weeks old now)
Then I came across a great deal on laying hens on craigslist. So now I have an additional 13 Adult Hens & a Rooster.
I was feeding them all Non-Med Starter & Grains FF +Oyster Shell but then the Hens stopped laying. So I got them layer feed.
Then I got 20 day olds (2 weeks ago) they are in 1 brooder with med-feed (not FF) and 1 duck & 2 turkey poults they are in the other brooder with Non-Med Feed (not FF) +Grit

I want them all together once everyone is old enough to come out of the brooder but what the heck do I feed?!!? I hate buying 5 different bags a the feed store!

PS. Everyone is Free-Ranged during the day or will be once old enough.

I use flock raiser for my younger non laying chicks and ducks and layer feed for my soon to be layers..its still two types but way better than 5!

I feed growers and make sure to offer high calcium treats and snacks.

I was told that the meat wouldnt be good to eat if they were on Medicated feed for to long...
Never herd that, most Boiler feed is medicated with Amprolium so I don't see how it is going to be a problem.
