I have used many feeds, I really like Kalmbach. They have conventional, Non GMO & organic. I was using their flock maker pellets, but have switched to Full Plume & Feathering Feed. Yes, it's a layer feed & has 20% protein. I only have hens & they are all now laying & tired of going through oyster shell. Heck my girls eat oyster shell when they are on layer feed. I have one feed store that carries Kalmbach, but don't know if they carry FP&F feed. I have been ordering from Chewy during the pandemic. My 2nd choice is Nutrena, but the price is $2 more for Kalmbach online adjusted for bag size, so for now I will stay with it. The girls love it, because it is mini pellets. As far as Non GMO & organic, there are always naysayers who make themselves feel better, because they don't want to buy it. It depends on what matters to you.
