The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

"Kyle," Blair bent down, blocking Rylie with her hand. "If something happens to you, then we'll never finish this and we won't know what to do." She shook her head, straightening up. "We need you. Let me go first," it wasn't a question, it was a demand. She glanced back at the group, making sure that Kit had stayed with them and not wandered off, before continuing up the steps slowly, keeping alert for any odd noises.
Kyle crossed his arms, but there was little he could do to stop her. Fine. Die then.
Rylie crept behind her cautiously, sensing her fear.

Clary was mildly disturbed as flaming arrows shot out at Blair’s head. As Blair mentioned booby traps, Clary sighed. “Yeah, we need to call that something else. My inner twelve year old boy is having a really hard time keeping a straight face.” She said. She cautiously crept up the stairs behind Kyle and Blair, expecting more flaming arrows-or worse-to come out at any second.
After a few moments of silence, Clary spoke again. “This is giving me some serious video game vibes. When’s a boss battle gonna happen? And what’s going to be the boss? I giant spider, like in Harry Potter?”

Annie gimmaced, "It better not be. There are a million of them around here though so be careful."

Kipp looked around completely shocked, the room had changed again, since the rest had shown up. Now most stair cases headed down. He shook his head not sure if he had been imagining things or if the room had always been like this.

"Fred!" He said almost shouting his name. "You're ok!"
“KIPP!” Fred practically flew across to Kipp “I couldn’t find you anywhere. Where you trying to hide from meeeee” the stone he was standing on sank. Booby trapped. Fred hurriedly jumped at Kipp so he didn’t sink. “Quick” He tackled Kipp.

“Wait,” Cam said. “If this staircase is going to the right place, why isn’t it trapped? Maybe that other one was the right one. You know, with flaming arrows you just throw a shoe on the trigger and wait for the arrows to run out, right?”

“Yeah. Come to think of it.... Maybe we should split up. Like half the group go up the staircase and the other half try to find another one and possibly go up it...” Ellie suggested

"No. Argh!" Kipp fell hard to the floor. "Uhh, thanks?" He said when nothing obvious happened. A loud click echoed from the floor, and slowly the walls started to turn, blocking off the stairwells.

“You mean down... Too late to decide now,” Cam realized as a door sealed them into the staircase, making it completely black inside. “I don’t like this,” she said, nudging Blair. “Let’s get out of here.”
