The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Kyle crossed his arms, but there was little he could do to stop her. Fine. Die then.
Rylie crept behind her cautiously, sensing her fear.
“You mean down... Too late to decide now,” Cam realized as a door sealed them into the staircase, making it completely black inside. “I don’t like this,” she said, nudging Blair. “Let’s get out of here.”
Blair didn't dare glance behind her. She didn't dare look away from the staircase in front of her, until Cam nudged her. "Wait-" Before she could speak, the door was slammed shut with a loud bang. A clicking noise sounded by her ear, and she whirled around just in time to miss being stabbed by a throwing knife that was launched from the wall. She glanced as Cam, heart pounding. "You're right, we need to get out of here..." She raised her voice, looking down the stairwell. "Go back down! Wait for us there, and then we'll figure out what to do."

Cam stumbled backwards as the knife flew by. “Why? What happened?” She couldn’t see her hand a foot in front of her face, let alone a knife flying through the air. Still, the whoosh of it cutting the air didn’t seem natural.
It's a trap. It’s a trap. It’s a trap.
Cam was careful not to stumble as she took the stairs back down blindly.
But Kyle remained firm.
“If me and Rylie go ahead, we won’t get hit by traps meant for normal sized people. Then we can warn you. If only we had a light. You can’t avoid a step that you can’t see. At least we might be able to see what’s at the top.”
Rylie’s pupils swallowed his irises as he tried in vain to peer past the darkness. All he knew was that there was light at the end of the tunnel. So their climb commenced.

Annie gimmaced, "It better not be. There are a million of them around here though so be careful."

Clary gagged. “I like spiders, but ugh... that’s too many.”

“Wait,” Cam said. “If this staircase is going to the right place, why isn’t it trapped? Maybe that other one was the right one. You know, with flaming arrows you just throw a shoe on the trigger and wait for the arrows to run out, right?”

Clary froze, her foot on one of the steps. “I didn’t think of that...” she trailed off, watching Kyle to see what he was going to do.

When Rylie took the first step, Kyle realized that there was no whoosh that cut the air above his head.
Ten steps. Click. A knife sailed over their heads. Kyle’s palms grew sweaty as he gripped Rylie’s tense hackles. Ten more. They were in another room, eerily lit by sconces. “Now who could have turned those on?” Kyle wondered, turning Rylie back down the stairs. Now there was no whooshing.
“I think they ran out of knives,” Kyle concluded, leaning against Rylie’s side.

Kipp dragged himself out from under Fred.
"I think we're gonna be fine." He said looking around the stair case everyone else had gone up was blocked off and different stairs were opened. "That explains why the stairs were coming out where they shouldn't." He stood up and offered Fred a hand. "Come on, we'll find a way to get back to them."

“Aww man my glasses are cracked” Fred moaned stamping a foot. “Everyone else I saw gone without us?! Again!” Fred asked

"Are you still able to see out of them?" Kipp asked it wouldn't be good if he couldn't see, this place was a lot more dangerous that he'd thought it would be.
