The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Kipp studied Fred's face. "A lot of people are jerks for no reason." He answered, looking back at the garbage in his hands. "Though, it seems like most of the people here know what it's like to not have a friend." Kipp sighed stuffing the wrapper into his shorts and leaning back against the steps. "Maybe that's why were chosen for this. Maybe, it's the people who are lowest who have to decide, if everyone else is worth saving."
“Possibly. What about you? What’s your history?” Fred asked

Take stopped further ahead of Blair, making sure he was far from the stairs.
“At first I thought it was a giant bug, but it sure doesn’t sound like one..” he was left dumbfounded at what thing was down there. Another deep growl uttered up the stairs and echoed into the hall.
I kind of want to know what it is..
“We should probably keep going” his gaze staring into Blair’s glowing gold eyes from afar.
"Unless bugs can suddenly growl, then it's definitely something else..." Blair replied, glancing over her shoulder, before looking back at him. She did not utter a word, turning around, creeping back to the stairs and peering into the dark. She saw nothing, but heard what faguely resembled footsteps, and the scent that floated up nearly choked her. It smelled of decay and death, not the cold smell of the molding walls, but like something very much dead.
Her heart was racing as she took several steps back as silently as possible, dragging Kit with her, before her slowly turned to look at Take. There was a sound of creaking stairs as whatever it was started approaching slowly, and Blair's hand clamped around Kit's muzzle, keeping her quiet. When she spoke, she could barely hear her own trembling voice. "What do we do?"

The overwhelming stench filled Take’s nostrils, forcing him to cover up his nose. It was the most foul and pungent odor he ever smelled.
He began to curse in his head after Blair asked what they should do.
What do we do? Crap.. this is going to depend on me now.. if she and Kit weren’t here.. I would’ve tried fighting it off. But I know she won’t let me do it on my own, and she’d probably get hurt. Maybe the best thing we can do is try to hide..?
“Hide” he whispered.
His eyes shot towards the nearest door in the hallway, grasping Blair’s wrist as he opened it, then ushering her and Kit inside. He followed right behind them as he closed the door quietly. Take swiftly observed the room for somewhere to hide. It was an old medieval bedroom, so it had to have a wardrobe. Once he located it, he pointed towards it, “Hide in there” he said anxiously.

Blair forced herself not to yelp as pulled her inside the room, and told her to hide in the wardrobe. She narrowed her eyes, and raised a hand, pressing a finger against her lips to silence him. She grabbed Kit's collar, herding the dog over to the wardrobe and ever so carefully opened it. She lifted Kit, and put her inside. The dog looked at her oddly, eyes wide. "Stay, and be quiet," she ordered softly, closing the door, wincing at the loud click it made.
Carefully, she made her way back over to Take. No way I'm hiding. He'll probably do something stupid. At least Kit'll be safe.
She came up beside him, leaning close to the door, listening. Outside the door, heavy, rasping breathing and footsteps reached her ears, and a low snarling noise echoed through the hall. She looked at Take, ear close to the door, brows drawn together. She pulled away slowly, just inches from him. "What is that thing?"

“Hell if I know” he whispered back harshly, “It really needs to take a bath though..”
Take listened closely to every move it made, it was getting closer since the putrid odor was growing more and more intense. That’s when he heard a thud against the door, followed by a loud scraping sound.
He gritted his teeth, “Go with Kit, now” his voice low and hoarse. He started stepping towards the wardrobe, intending that he would get in as well.

Blair flinched as there was a violent scraping sound. Like claws against wood. She shuddered, the wolf struggling to front at the noise. "Go," she huffed, not to Take nessicarily, eyes flickering open as she pulled him to the wardrobe. She pulled open the door, glancing behind her at the door shivered as whatever the creature was slammed itself against the door, and pushed Take in ahead of her, Kit's whining filling her ears. She paused, then, when she realized that all three of them would never fit inside and the door being able to close. I have to do this...I can't let him get hurt. Not again. If something happened to him...
She glanced at the door as the creature flung itself against it against, before she closed one of the wardrobe doors to stop Kit from escaping. She looked Take, her eyes fading back to her normal yellow when she looked him in the eyes. She didn't utter a word, just gave a small smile, and shut the wardrobe door, pressing her back against it as she turned around. Her eyes flickered close as the wolf started taking whatever it control it could, just as the door was broken down.

She better not.. I swear...
He shook his head then opened his mouth to speak, but she closed the door on him before he could. He began to yell at her to open the doors, banging on them furiously with the side of his fist.
You’re a cruel one..

The rotting wolf broke through the door, its fungal spores emitting from its body. It sniffed the floor vigorously and lifted its head to look at where the scent ended. Its pale white eyes glared at Blair, then it started to snarl. Its lips curled, fangs showing with disgusting miscolored foam flowing from its mouth. The five-foot tall decomposing wolf started to stalk towards her, its one ear retreating against its skull. Parts of the wolf’s fur was missing, visibly from mange, along with large patches of fungus that grew in some areas.

“Possibly. What about you? What’s your history?” Fred asked
"Mnngh, Well?" He wasn't sure exactly how to answer. "If you asked anyone from school, I"m the guy who killed his own girlfriend. I didn't." He added quickly, now fidgeting with his fingernails, "But, a friend of mine did die while we were alone together. After a few years my parents decided to move. I guess to start over or something. It didn't really work. I don't know how but it was all around school by the end of the first week. Everything at home fell apart shortly after that. Not that it was spectacular before, but it wasn't this bad." Kipp finally fell silent, unable to look at Fred. He'd never shared that much information about himself before, and it was weird having some one else know.
