The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Once the stairwell lit up, Annie, joined the rest of the group at the top of the stairs, hovering above the stair so she didn't set off any traps.

"Has anyone seen Ellie? She was with me, but just disappeared."
“I haven’t,” Cam volunteered. “Maybe we could find her?”
“No. No more finding people. If someone is gonna find people, it’s gonna be me,” Kyle said.

Take watched as Blair twisted and broke off the padlock, his face left awe.
She looked.. not like herself for a sec there..
He shifted his hand to the door, opening it inwards, releasing a large metal croak echoing through his cell.
He walked out, standing in front of Blair, he thanked her as he inspected her shaking arms.
“You..you gonna be alright..?” concern filling his voice as he delicately touched her forearm curiously.
Blair was silent for several moment after he asked, one hand against one of the bars. The room was spinning around her, and she forced her eyes shut as her vision blurred. She only knew she was still standing because Take's hand hadn't moved from her arm.
"N-no," she answered his question softly, forcing herself to open her eyes as everything seemed to stop spinning. "I mean, yes, I'm fine...maybe, I don't know, let's just...go," she pulled her arm away from him sharply, not daring to look at him. She hesitantly moved away from the bars, her breath short and rapid, her arms feeling odd and throbbing. That wasn't normal. This isn't normal.

Take took a few steps ahead, keeping his eyes on Blair attentively. The backlash from the lock took a toll on her, and he didn’t know how she’d recuperate.
“You should probably chill for a bit, you don’t look okay” he suggested.

"I'm fine, Take. Just tired." Blair muttered, still short of breath, calling Kit over to her. The border collie came over, pausing at her owners feet and looking up, seeming almost concerned. She brushed past Take, before stopping and turning to him, glancing him over once. "You're the one who took an arrow to the arm," she said, coming close and looking at the wound that was healing rapidly. "Not me."

“Yeah I know, let’s just get out of here” Take replied briefly, looking down at her. He could hear a faint chittering sound far behind them, More bugs?

"Right, let's go..." Blair murmured, following him. She stopped when she heard the skittering noise, and she turned, glancing around. Nothing. Except for massive claw marks on the wall that she had never noticed until then, claw marks they were unnaturally huge. So she nearly pushed Take up the stairs out of fear of what may be down there, Kit on her heels. "Go," she hissed, as the chittering grew louder. She nearly stopped as dizziness swamped her, the world spinning violently, her speed faltering until Kit nudged her leg, pushing her to keep going. Get into the light, get up these stairs and then you can stop...

Take quickly ascended the steps, his heart racing in his chest.
I’m not up for fighting whatever is down there..
What the two didn’t know was that the trap Take fell into, was one that fed the creature that lurked down there. It caught the scent of his blood, and it was now hunting him down.

Blair pulled herself up the last step, staggering into the hallway at the top. She leaned against the wall, breathing quickly. Behind them, there was a growling that wasn't Kit. She turned, steadying herself against the wall. She glanced at Take, her eyes golden. "What was that?" She hissed. She knew they should run, but her legs didn't allow her, and her dizziness didn't fade. She took a step back, trying to scent what may be around, but she only scented the cold, damp mold.

Take stopped further ahead of Blair, making sure he was far from the stairs.
“At first I thought it was a giant bug, but it sure doesn’t sound like one..” he was left dumbfounded at what thing was down there. Another deep growl uttered up the stairs and echoed into the hall.
I kind of want to know what it is..
“We should probably keep going” his gaze staring into Blair’s glowing gold eyes from afar.
