The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Lavender looked over at the people Clary was talking to, then pinned back her ears and tucked her tail between her legs sadly. "My family probably wont even care that Im gone..." She then perked up at the man Clary was getting angry at and ran over to his defense. "Y-you dont know that he really intended to kidnap us! It was the gems was it not? It might not be his intention to keep us for a long time! You dont know what he went through to get us here, so give him a chance!" She then looked at everyone else and shrunk, shaking with fear, she looked back at Will with nervous but kind eyes and stepped away softly.

Lavender then looked over at the man who had called her out, she walked over timidly and thought for a moment. "I-I'll have the chamomile, please." She had really wanted the pumpkin spice but she thought that the chamomile would calm her nerves and hopefully her vibrating body. She smiled shyly at him, her ears still pinned flat against her skull and her tail tightly between her legs.

Clary gave Lavender a sympathetic look. “I’m sorry,” she said softly. She was lucky to have parents that loved her, seeing as it was not something a lot of people had. “I’m willing to give him a chance, I just need to let my parents know I’ll be gone first. Gems or not, they’ll still be worried.” She watched Lavender tuck her tail between her legs. Lavender acted quite sad and pathetic, and Clary decided she wanted to become friends with this new girl.

Take stared at her curiously as she talked, she gave off a scent that was, different. He was too distracted to listen to what she was saying, but he guessed she was talking about all these things going on.
He leaned back in his chair, arms folded behind his head.
“Eh, I feel like it could’ve been worse. I was honestly surprised and confused at first.. but I guess I’ll roll with about anything now.” he said flatly.
"I guess you have a point. He could have been a murderer, or someone from the government wanting to use people like us for a science experiment or something." Blair rested one arm on the back of her chair, her hand flourishing randomly as she spoke.
"Guess fighting giant bugs is a little be more exciting then being stuck in college." She gave a barely audible laugh, shaking her head with no inducement.

“I totally agree with you!” Kyle called from his tray. “Hello... girl from Scotland,” he pointed at Lavender. “What type of tea do you prefer? We have matcha, roast green tea, chamomile, mint, pumpkin spice...” he made a face. He did not share Cams opinion of pumpkin spice flavored things.

“I’m afraid you are not on a different timeline... but again, if someone kidnapped some proper adults...” Laurel paused to shoot a blistering stare in Kyle’s direction. “The world wouldn’t be nearly so worried. Honestly though, I’m surprised you care about me at all. I should feel touched.
You needn’t worry, however. I know how to evade those types of things.”
His expression was stark as ever without his eyes to betray him. If a creature lacked eyes, you felt little pity for a him, couldn’t connect with it or plan it’s next move. That was why concealing them worked so well.
"Well, that doesn't help much," Colby commented to the other two occupants of his booth. "Personally, I'd love an indefinite out of school- and I never said that. And, of course, there's the beast bugs, which are hands-down the biggest plus." He picked up the cutesy little tin of sugar packets that was nestled on a corner of the table and peered at it with dismay, as if it should have the solid answers to all life's questions etched into it. "But I'm not quite sure how the, uh, parental-dependent and school-bound individuals are going to manage this."

Take nodded along to what Blair was saying, running a hand through his light pink hair.
“I bet”
He sat up and stared seriously into her yellow eyes, “What are you exactly?” he asked, the curiosity getting the best of him.
