"I can help." Haddie said, no emotion in her voice. "We should have enough people with night vision to herd the group." She shifted into a sheepdog and trotted to the right side of the group.

"I can help." Haddie said, no emotion in her voice. "We should have enough people with night vision to herd the group." She shifted into a sheepdog and trotted to the right side of the group.
"Haddie on the right, yes. Take, go to the left side of the group. Anyone else who has night vision, or even a phone that has a light or something take up the back and any space around the edges, alright?" Blair raised her voice to make herself heard. She had a feeling something would go horribly wrong, and she would do her best to prevent that.As the group came up with a plan to travel with the limited daylight that they had, Take guessed he had to stay in the back of the group to help with ‘herding’.
“I’m with the dog here right..? he asked, seeking some sort of clarity.
“Alright, gotcha chief!” Take exclaimed at Blair, following her instruction. He went on the left side of the group, throwing up a thumbs up."Haddie on the right, yes. “Rylie, you are going to have to follow the people, ok?”"Haddie on the right, yes. Take, go to the left side of the group. "No, Cam. We're trying to stop you from getting eaten first." Blair muttered, shaking her head. She let her senses run wild for a moment, listening, scenting, deciding their best route. From the north, to the right of them, a frigid breeze carried the scent of moorland and mountains, heather and drying grasses and autumn leaves, the breeze carrying away the scents of the dying forest to the south. Which meant that east was behind them, and west was straight on towards the setting sun. Follow the dying star.“Rylie, you are going to have to follow the people, ok?”
Rylie navigated toward the back of the group.
“Is this some kind of conspiracy against people with poor vision by forcing us to get eaten first?” Cam wondered aloud, facing the forest fearfully.
Fox followed suite with Clary, turning the flashlight on his phone on. Already the sky was darkening quickly, the sun setting faster and faster. He glanced at Clary, shuddering. She was nervous, which made him even more so. Great. This is how I die.Clary nodded and pulled out her phone, turning the flashlight on. She moved to the back of the group. This is how horror movies start. She thought, looking around. It was only a matter of time before they would be picked off one by one, starting with the people in the back.
Take didn’t have any sense of fear in this situation. He strongly believed that Blair could get them to their next location safely. Plus she was a werewolf, and although he wasn’t an expert on them, he knew she was the best person to guide them. He made sure to keep the group intact on his side.
As the sky shifted its colors and started to grow dark, his eyes instinctively adjusted to his night vision.
Blair glanced back at the group, night falling quicker then she had anticipated. Of course she trusted Take and Haddie to keep the group together. But what she didn't trust was the forest and the dangers that may lay within. She felt a brush by her ankle, glancing down with a jolt of anxiety. It was just Kit. "Go!" She muttered. "Go to Take."Haddie trudged along, gently nudging anyone who strayed too far to the right. I hope we get there soon. They're literally like sheep in the dark.
