The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

“Me as well,” Cam said, recapping the bottle and dropping it back into the bag before starting up the stairs.
Kyle shrugged. He agreed with the overall decision. At least Blair wasn’t trying to take over, and it seemed like something bad did happen whenever they got separated. Now if Blair had been the one to confront him, Kyle might have fought the idea.
He nearly slipped off of Rylie as Haddie stomped past. Must be useful having a pouch like that.
“Giddy-up!” and Rylie was up the stairs.
"Wait, guys, maybe you should be more careful, ya know, because of what's happened with literally every other staircase?"
When Colby realized his public service announcement had gone unheard or maybe just unheeded, he bolted up the stairs with full intention to personally set off every trigger possible. His first act was kicking an unobtrusive loose brick, which sent a volley of arrows streaming just above his flattened ears and bashing into the opposite wall.

THWIP THWIP THWIP THWIP THWIP!
Rylie’s ears flattened against his head.
“What was that?” Cam asked.
Kyle nudged Rylie forward. So far the young fox had been uninterruptive. Now he had made it his obvious goal to get himself killed.
“What are you doing?” he yelled, forcing Rylie to stand in the boy’s path.

Colby didn't look down, too intent on scanning the stairway for guised threats. "No offense intended, sir, but I'm fairly certain that I can see better in this than you can," he responded distractedly. "So I figured it'd be best if I set everything off on purpose rather than letting you guys do it by accident."

Kyle pointed down at Rylie’s wide eyes, then his own sharp little peepers.
“Do you have color vision?” he wondered.
Rylie sniffed the edge of the step and hopped over it delicately.

Annie who was following not far behind grinned at Colbys snarky remark. And grabbed a couple of arrows that had rolled down toward her. Finally something i can use as a weapon.

Blair winced, her head low. Thud. Thud. Thud. THWACK!
Three arrows, one knife. She silently counted the weapons shot as Colby set off the traps. The noise seemed to vibrate the walls, echoing loudly in the stairwell. Smart kid...
She was the last one going up the staircase, at the tail end, so she just avoided them, but what about going down? Someone would surely hit a trap and get hurt. So she kept herself low, stepping on the triggers. THWACK. THWACK. THWACK. Thud. Thud. Thud.
She shrieked as a bang louder then a gunshot fired over her head, missing her by mere inches. The wall was scorched where it had hit, but for the life of her she didn't know what it was. "Please be careful, guys!"

Take swing around quickly to look down at the source of the sudden loud bang. His eyes widened a bit as he saw the random fire on the wall and Blair right next to it. He jogged down the stairs, as if he were going to stick with her, but that was misleading. He tore a knife off the wall and looked Blair in the eyes unashamedly as he lifted up his shirt slightly, hiding the knife in the side of his pants. He was tired of using his bare hands to kill things, so a weapon would be beneficial.
He smirked, “Says the one who’s setting off traps too” and before she could say anything, he pivoted and went back up to the others.
