Not the click that made Blair freeze in fear, but the click that sent joy through her. The door had been unlocked. Light flooded the stairwell as it was flung open, revealing Alanna, who was clearly unamused. "Next time, keep the door open, Wolfy. It took me forever to strip the charms off this thing."
"It shut itself, Alanna. Thank you for your assistance," she said coldly, walking past her. She glanced around the room, pausing as she surveyed. Alanna, Ellie, Fox, Cam...Clary, is that her name? Kyle and Rylie...Charlie? Yes, Charlie, and Annie, Haddie...
"We're still missing Kipp and Fred," she noted, more to herself then to the others.
Then she did one more sweep over the room. And then another. Until it hit her that Kipp and Fred were not the only ones missing. "Where is Take? And where is my dog?"

I'm officially over tired, one should not laugh this long. Nor this hard at this post.
