I didn't believe these could be so good until I tried them, oh my gosh! NOM NOM NOM!

In a bowl, beat 1 large egg.

Add 1 cup of white sugar and, if you want, a bit of vanilla - mix well.

Add 1 cup of crunchy peanut butter - mix.

Add 1/2 cup of flour and a bit of cinnamon, if you like - mix.

Spoon dough the size you want onto a greased cookie sheet, flatten a bit.

Bake for 12 minutes at 350F, let cool - and enjoy!

plain flour - it's hard to mess up this recipe, some people don't even add flour at all and it apparently works.

the "original" recipe calls for 1 egg, 1 cup white sugar and 1 cup crunchy peanut butter and that is IT.

however by adding a few ingredients it's really a lovely cookie... one bowl, one spoon, one measuring cup

i made them again yesterday and used whole wheat flour instead of white, used half brown sugar and half white, added toasted sesame seeds in the mix...

YUMMY!!

Me too! Those bars look delish!

nope, sorry - I've got a simpler one. Open a box of chocolate chip cookies, smear PB on the top. DONE!

Seriously though, that sounds super yummy!
