Howdy y’all!
In case y’all haven’t known this, getting goats has been on my radar for the past year. I’ve been obediently doing my reaserch and learning about them the best that I can. But yesterday, we called spoke to the local sheriff and learned that the keeping of goats in not permitted on our one acre. Oh my goodness! And we also learned that my roosters have to go. The thing that really makes me fume, is what we CAN have. The sherif told us that pot-belly pigs are allowed on ANY size, residential lot! Oh my goodness gracious! And we cannot keep 2 Nigerian Dwarf goats that are about 60-70 pounds and are a tiny breed of goat! Do any of y’all have an idea why pot-belly pigs are allowed and not a tiny breed of goat? Thanks for reading this!
