THE MOTHER'S DAY HATCH-A-LONG!!!! The last day to join in and set eggs with us is April 28th.

I did find out that my incubater does the dry hatch and I do well with my own eggs.

I want to try ! I am tired now and will have to re read all the rules but I will set some Eggs tomorrow as the Mother of seven If I have a good Hatching I will call it my Mothers day present to myself !

Jand - are you putting some in tonight too?

Well, I am actually on day 2.5 on my BBS English Orpington eggs but tonight I'm doing a Whole Foods fertile egg dozen in the other bator...don't know what breed they are. Sweeeet.

I'll join, asuming my package of eggs arrives in the morning. : ) I will have around 8 dozen Guinea eggs, 6 Indian Runner eggs, and some surprise eggs. Then depending on how much room I have, I will set some of the eggs I have saved up from my birds. : )

The important thing is to watch the air cell development. Look at the chart that shows how big the air cell is supposed to be at different days of incubation.

If the air cell is not at the correct place on the correct day, then adjust the humidity up or down. 30% works for me.

Just set 9 shipped Delaware and 6 bantam OE game eggs at 12am today so count me in.

If you missed it, this is the air cell chart. Adjust humidity up or down based on the chart and day of incubation:

Edited to add: The air cell will be Clear or lighter at the big end of the egg. I don't know why they added the colors
