I've seen it. My daughter loves it. I always cry in the beginning. So touching. I hope it wins an award this year. Great movie.

Well, I started this post to see if anyone else noticed all the similarities between Kevin and her babies to peafowl. She is purple and blue, she has a crest, has those gorgeous eyes, and her babies' calls are recordings of male peafowl. She is just an overgrown peahen which, incidentally, are not native to South America. This is why I placed the post in the Peafowl section.

[Whispering Winds]

When we went to the movies to see it, the first 20 min. were sort of slow and I thought uh-oh, but then it was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I love grouchy old men who are really softies and Kevin just absolutely made the movie. The way he loved his wife was wonderful; we need to see this more, and wasn't she the cutest little thing? Just an all around good movie. Might get it for a stocking gift for our 9 year old, as he thought it was GREAT.
