It's easy to blame "high priced" commodities on increased food prices. Bread has less than $.20 of wheat in a pound of bread and that is with $12/bushel wheat (wheat is little over $8/bushel). Ditto w/corn. The "food" price is packaging/advertising/profit/processing. In American, we buy processing & packaging.
