-The Mythics RP-

(I looked up his form in the Archives. Isn't the Centaur compond where @Blue Raptor's character is that is eventually going to be brought onto the ship both Liam and Fritz going to be on? You could possibly keep him at the compound until Aerie is brought over, or, he could either be sent or just go ahead of Aerie and land on the ship to prepare it (or ensure it's ready) for Aerie to come aboard.)
Sounds like a plan. I'll work on it

Also, can you update me on Jintao's current position? Ember is coming to find him

Jintao slipped below deck, hidden amongst the busy crew running to and fro. He tucked his empty sleeve into his pocket and refused eye contact with any of the new mates, not that anyone tried. Two men carrying a heavy crate bustled by just as Jintao stepped out of the way. Busy- rushed- that's all they'd be until they hit land again, and then it'd start all over.
Jintao found his hat dangling from the nail he left it on. Fool, he shook his head and reached for it. Dust hiding from the many boots it floated from licked his hand and he sat the treasured item on his head with the brim barely covering his brows. This would have to be his security until he became skilled with the blade in his left hand. He turned around.
"Oh, sorry," a short man, holding his hands against Jintao, having run into him, gave him an apologetic response that was too weak to be a pirate.
"First mate," Jintao hissed, pulling his blade to the man's collarbone. "I advise you to watch your step a little more closely."
The man's eyes filled with fear and dropped down. His mouth opened, and then his gaze caught sight of the sleeve that had fallen from Jintao's pocket. His head cocked, baring a sense of familiarity that Jintao quickly searched his mind to match. "You sure about that?" he breathed a chuckle.
Jintao pressed the dagger enough to penetrate the man's skin. "We'll see if I don't chop your intestines into fish bait while you watch if you don't get ahold of your tongue, now won't we?" He searched the blonde's blue eyes for anything that said they'd met before. Nothing bore a recognized face, but he had a feeling that this wasn't the first time they'd met.
"Yes sir. Sorry to have bothered you, sir," the man gave a slight bow. Fear had returned to the man's eyes and he backed away. "You going to tell the captain, eh?"
"I wouldn't deprive myself of the enjoyment." Jintao flashed a haughty smile, squaring his shoulders.
The man nodded. A mixed look of disgust and horror wrapped his face as he turned away. Muttering something under his breath, he walked away with an occasional glance over his shoulder.
Jintao had gained his respect already, and for that, he felt guilty. Threatening torture- added with the fact of fishing, if this man knew anything about the Destruction, he sure knew that Jintao was from it now. Only a crew member associated with the hideous ship would set out such offers and include their momentary enjoyment from it. It was a means of control that could quickly become a reality if anyone disagreed. Fear and cruelty were how Nahash ruled his ship, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
Jintao turned away. He had thought he had left all of that, and look how quickly it was returning. He never changed, he only imagined he did because his surroundings had changed. A lump rose in his throat and his stomach twisted into a barbed knot. If the captain found out who he was, she'd toss him into the sea if she didn't hang him first. Someone from the Destruction was too risky for her ship, say nothing about having a respectable rank on it. He had made a mistake and there was no escaping it.

"I didn't know you had so much spine."
Ember stood leaning against the curved hull of the ship, arms crossed tightly, watching Jintao with a penetrating red stare.
"At first, I thought you might just be a fool, but I regret to say you've proven me wrong."
The Harpy pushed away from the wooden boards with a half-unfurled wing before dropping her arms to her sides again, one perching atop the hilt of a newly obtained saber. She gave a quick jerk of her head, nodding toward the stern of the ship.
"Captain permitted me to assign the high-rank quaters. Come with me."
Ember didn't wait, moving with swift, even strides, confident toward the private cabins.

Jintao's grip tightened on the dagger's wooden handle and he spun around. Ember leaned against the hull with her usual spunk. "I guess we're even then," he stuck his dagger back into his pocket and fixed his empty sleeve into the other. A quick glance around was enough to see everyone was back to work if they had even stopped.
Jintao threw Ember a smile of assurance before his mouth turned downward once again. Now she was impressed with him. How he wished that mattered to him. Instead, he knew it'd aid in his downfall if the word got out about his past.
Jintao nodded to her statement and followed her as though nothing happened. He'd have to confront his guilt later and somehow calm his stomach in the meantime.
