-The Mythics RP-

Pics
An older man in a mossy cloak stood quietly behind barrels of whiskey and crates of corn atop the wooden dock in Pirates Cove. One arm resting on the cargo and the other fiddling with a dagger still in its sheath at his side. He watched the altercation between the confused harpy’s and made a noise of disgust. All these mythics, like an infestation of rats aboard a noble ship. They didn’t belong here, only the humans should be allowed to live on the island.
Of course werewolves didn’t count, they were simply humans cursed with superiority and hated by their peers.
Amarok cocked his head, trying to figure out what the conversation was that they were having over there. Half-siblings?
Anyway, he thought the fire-fingered harpy…..phoenix?….whatever she was, would be good for the team. All he needed was to get on that ship without being detected, bite her and that’d be that. The pack mentality coupled with her crew not wanting anything to do with a werewolf would drive her away, and she’d be his newest pack member. It’d only take a little stealth.

(Sounds like what happened aboard the Demeter 👀)

(uuuuuhhhh- Matty, can Werewolves control The Changing at night, or is it inevitable?)

(I don't uh....... know how I feel about my character getting bitten.... yet. I mean, I could totally vibe with having a freakishly OP Harpy/Pheonix/Werewolf, that would be cool, but I also don't wanna end up with a godmodded character, and being a Werewolf has always sounded awful to me so..... I guess we'll just see where it goes?)

(A man of contradictions, I see…)

@Crestcrazy2
I mean, you don’t have to consent to it if you don’t want. And she can fly away.. 🤷‍♀️

(Coal's Very Normal Backstory: Coal's mother was a "Lady of the Night" at Bird Point. While she gave up her first child for adoption, in broke her heart, and she swore that if she ever had another, she would raise him as best she could. That child was Coal. While Coal never grew up with much, his mother loved him in the best way she could. But Coal's adventurous spirit lead him on, and he grew curious about his older sister. She wasn't hard to spot. She looked so much like his mother, and he knew she was half Harpy. Ever since he was 13, he saw her, sometimes, sneaking around and looking all suspicious. Apparently, illicit activity ran in the family. Well, Coal wanted to get in on that. He also wanted to talk to her some day. But his Ember sightings were rare, and he was always unconveniently engaged. One night, he saw her again, and he gathered all of his confidence and bluster and decided to follow Ember.)

Name: Mary
Gender: female
Age: 14
Species: harpy
Physical Appearance: living Disney princess. Black wings and brown, wavy hair. A dreamy face and a creamy complexion. A little slip of a girl. Big, blue eyes. Rosy cheeks. Wears a flowing halterneck dress and little shoes.
Personality: Loves to talk to birds. Often has her head in the clouds, sometimes figuratively, sometimes figuratively. While her bird-talking is seen as a bit asocial, it is more than made up for by her kindness to everyone.
Backstory (optional): Grew up with two loving parents and some siblings at Bird Point. A long history of talking to birds. I don’t really know how she would fit into the rp but I got a picture in my mind and wanted to make her for some reason. I won’t be mad if I don’t ever get to play her.

(Also I just realized my female characters are named Mary and Martha. Like from the Bible. Well, I guess I just like M names.)
(@Blue Raptor Also, making the character Mary is merely a self-indulgence, like I said, it I don’t play her I’m fine but I thought she’d be fun to make—I was right)
