That's a group hug :)

I took this really neat action shot today lol. My brother's 8 month old puppy Carrie LOVED Henry. She kept doing hurdles over him. Henry's main trick: Play dead

Once she was going a different direction, he'd get up and chase her.

I watched the YouTube video about making the lacto bacteria mixture I'm just wondering if ppl are using that for their FF (I am feeding an ACV batch now) I know you can spray it on your bedding any other things?

I read the series, and thought I was (and had been for a while) understanding, but the FF thread is really pushing the alcohol thing.

I'm keeping my two batches going, and starting a third for the ducks. I just wanted to experiment a little and start this one with the buttermilk. But you're right, I could just start it with a scoop of one of my other FF.

I don't like the new people there. That's all I'm saying.

I agree .....I go over to look & normally just page thru now. They have made it seem its harder to do than it is

Womanized plywood gave me a giggle!

I haven't finished catching up yet so I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but Cedar fumes can be toxic to chickens. Where ever you do end up using shavings, use pine.

You're going to be a great chicken owner!

So glad I didn't open the Cedar shavings then! Maybe they will take them back... but the place I bought them was a lot farther away than I thought it would be. I hope then they won't go in the woods when I do let them out.... Mostly Cedar Trees and Aspens!

I'll bet he'll sleep like a baby tonight. Puppies are so cute.
