At the health food store near me it was $8 but the one I bought from the Mennonites was $6. Think when I need more I am going to try Wegmans (local chain store)

I didn't think of the Mennonite store nearby. I love their quality, prices and amazing fresh bakery items. I'll have to check out their supply. They just enough out their fresh honey, so I was headed that way today.
Quote: I wish they were closer to where I live. I could have all the fresh meat, dairy & other goodies that are so much better for me at a more reasonable price
Also the Amish have migrated so they are now located in OH, IN, FL, and out west too as well as PA. I think I have read of them in CO. CO is a lot closer to you than PA.

The Amish and Mennonite are all over the United States Canada and Mexico... Their in every state but the biggest collection of them is pa Ohio Maryland Virginia and West Virginia and New York... Mostly look for them in intercourse pa, blue ball pa, bird in hand pa, and paradise pa, lmao yes those are all real town names! And there all around each other above and to the east of Harrisburg mostly along the 15 or 30
Cornish X..sorry..I did not post the letter X. I thought that is what we were talking about.
Just wanted to make sure! Every once in a while, either someone talking Cornish LF, leaves off the LF, and peeps think they're talking CX, or vice versa... and Man oh man it can get sparky! And I was thinking you meant CX, but if you HAD meant LF Cornish, well, it IS a whole different thing!

There's quite a large Mennonite population in Oregon, but it seems like it would be asking too much to pop in for a visit, and ta-DA they know personally this Henry guy who breeds Mistral Gris. Which is why was asking if anyone is near PA/knows Amish personally out that way. I'd love to start a purposeful snail mail conversation with someone. My writing skills need help after so many years of email and texting! How DO you communicate without emoticons?? I don't remember...

Lol if you approach the Amish without pretentious they are usually quick to help! But as a female DO NOT approach a male and definitely DO NOT give him eye contact! This goes with the more strict mennonite communities as well!
